What is a good summer camp on the East Coast?

Civilian Boot Camp (As close to military as possible)?

  • I'm looking for a boot camp somewhere on the east coast of the US, for civilians, that is as close to marine/army boot camp as possible. I have looked everywhere and all I find are crappy exercise programs, just like any gym membership, for a few hours a day, a couple times a week. This is not at ALL what I'm after. I'm looking for the full package. I would like somewhere that you actually stay at, like room and board, food, etc. Somewhere where you get woken up at 6 a.m. to a drill Sergent yelling in your face. A place where day and night, you're under watch and have to be ready to get up and go. A place where they push you to your ABSOLUTE physical and mental limit. I want a place that will test my endurance and most likely break me for all intents and purpose. I do not at all want some caring, loving, mamby pamby bull s*#t that makes me feel good about myself. I want some asshole to tell yell at me and tell me what a piece of crap I am and make me do pushups until I pass out. Now you may think I'm crazy, and rightfully so. However, I've never been one to be able to stick to regiments and routines I set for myself. What I'm trying to do here is get into something so extreme; so regimented, that it shocks myself into a more livable lifestyle. I've tried a lot of things, and have no intent to actually join the military; but I still feel that a summer of intense structure and training would be good for me mentally and physically. Someone please help me! (it may not necessarily have to be on the east coast. Travel is an option).

John shipleys extremesealexperience.com Its a training course for guys that want to become seals that are not in the navy yet. He is a ex navy seal. He has a youtube thing called phony navy seal of the week where he openly calls out people who say they were a seal. I hear his course is tuff.

how much are you willing to spend? if the price is right you can stay with me for a while.

Seriously? You have no drive yet you think a voluntary program such as you describe, if it exists, would work? What would keep you from just quitting?

Go to PT aka physical training it gives you a little taste of boot camp.
