What are some good smooth jazz musicians and songs?

Some jazz I can't stand but I'm pretty sure smooth/soft jazz is alright, I'd like someone to point me in the right direction of smooth jazz musicians and some really catchy smooth jazz songs.

If you are after easy listening smooth soft music called " smooth jazz" then go for K.G. i am not into this type of music as it is more pop than real jazz imo so am not able to recommend anyone else, give me the master innovators such as Ayler,Coltrane,Shepp,Ornette Coleman,and Anthony Braxton for example.
