Can you help with tattoo ideas?

Can somebody please help me brainstorm ideas for a memorial tattoo?

It's for my brother who commited suicide when I was young, it's always haunted me even though I was so young when it happened. Anyways I want to dedicate a memorial tattoo to him when I turn 18 this summer. Problem is, I can't think of anything! I was thinking of the common cross with a banner around it with his name or something, but that seems so unoriginal. Creativity is not my strong point so any ideas would help a lot.
