How do you add tax to things?

Should the government have a higher tax on families with multiple children?

  • Reasoning behind this: If you want X amount of children, you obviously have an income that supports those kids and household needs. So you are taxed according to the income that supports X amount of children. Everyone knows that kids cost money. In one perspective welfare is basically paying people to have tons of kids without being able to financially support themselves. More children =More tax. Say the amount of children you can have before you get taxed is 2. Only way you can have more than 2 without getting tax. Your first or 2nd pregnancy is twins or triplets. The higher the number of children, the higher the tax. This will deters that people who don't have the money to raise children from continuing to have children. I'm going to add due to things people don't seem to read the entire detail. This tax isn't to suck parents dry. Every social class poor or rich will be taxed. If a tax like this were to exist, birth control should be free. Your first 2 kids are FREE of tax. If you want to have a third child, you must have the money to pay for it. How many kids is someone who can't even afford to feed them going to keep having?

  • Answer:

Yes. And families where both parents aren't working should be forced to have at least one parent working. Cos that annoys me. The tax I have to pay is keeping lazy families living. I hate working. But I like the fact I earn my own money instead of scrounging from taxpayers.
