What is the difference between 3g and 4g lte?

• I would like to know what is the difference between 3g and 4g lte... I know that 4g lte let's access the web and download faster. But i believe that their is more to it is should be something key details that set them apart .. what else 4g lte can do that 3g is unable to do

  for end user difference is the speed. technically lte works on a higher bandwidth, 20 MHz compared to 5 MHz in 3g, modulation at lte is more robust -OFDMA. LTE networks are self organizing, means fewer issues due to human errors, networks are smarter. :) reach me if more technical jargon needed
