How to not get homesick at sleepaway camp?

How could I hide my phone and ipod at camp?

  • Okay so I'm going to a sleepaway camp this summer the same one I always go to. And this year I want to bring my phone and ipod plase dont say dont do it none of you guys probably even heard of my camp and how they act there. At the camp they check like once or twice during camp to see if we have our phones or something like that (they don't really check that great they don't check like every single thing) So these are some of my ideas and my friends: - Hide my phone in the bottom of a tissue box with the charger -Hide it on the last pocket of my jeans in my storage box for clothes but idk where to put the charger -Get a secret journal and hide it in the compartment Any other ideas please help if you know anything about this a good place for an ipod and phone and their chargers thanks! But idk if I'm gona bring my ipod or not but still list ideas!

    I had an ipod when i went to camp and it was pretty easy to hide it. I hid mine in a little pocket in my sleeping bag. I think it was meant to stuff a pillow in but its a perfect place so nobody would notice any headphones or lights from electronics. So check and see if you have something like that in your sleeping bag. You could probably make/put one on too.You could just go simple and hide it in a bundle of socks. Though my friend had a ipod and had a genius idea of velcrowing A jacket pocket( i don't think its a word but two corresponding pieces of Velcro) closed putting her iphone in there and cutting a small hole in the inside part of her jacket pulling out the headphones and running it through her sleeve ( She taped it in place) and it was just long enough she could put her hand against her ear and hear the music. She changed her song list during bathroom breaks. now she does it in school too but i'de never have enough guts to risk losing my phone. Good luck

Under your mattress Underneath a dresser that is in your room or something like that Tampon/Pad case :) haha In your pillow case Get a piggy bank type of thing and hide it in there and if they ask just say that its jewlery/money inside or something take long socks with you and hide your charger/phone/ipod in them My best suggestion is under the matress or in a tampon/pad case haha but just think sneakily :)

Guess what's going to happen? You'll think you found a good spot to hide your crap. It will be found when your not around and taken. Yes, an adult will take it and what will you do about it?

What about an empty shampoo/conditioner/body wash container? Or cut a little slit in your pillow or a stuffed animal and put it in there. These are my two places that alwayssss work for me :) Hope I helped!

U can hide your ipod In your pillow.... That has a zipper. If your allowed to take your own pillow

You could probably hide it any number of places with varying degrees of success, but the real problem is finding a safe time to use it. If this camp you're going to is like any camp I've been to, you'll rarely be in a dorm alone, and even if your fellow campers are okay with you having your phone/iPod your dorm leader/counselor could walk in on you using it at any time. You can't use it at night, since any sort of light would be obvious to the whole dorm, and people will probably notice if you're absent from any activities. And how will you keep these things charged? Chances are your phone won't last the whole week, and I know for a fact that iPods rarely last longer than two days, so you definitely won't be able to charge these things without being discovered. Maybe I'm crazy, but it just doesn't seem worth the risk. Getting in trouble doesn't exactly lend itself to a fun week of camp.
