Do guys text back just to be polite?

Why won't guys text first?

  • I think this guy likes me for a number of reasons. He has texted me first on occasion but I feel like I text him first more often. When I text him we'll be flirty and he'll always keep the convo going, no matter how silly it is. When I do text him he seems happy that it's me and eager to keep the convo going. So how come he won't text me first very often? I feel like if I am going to be a bother if I keep texting him first all the time.

  • Answer:

It's just something that pretty much all guys do, we turn to jelly when it comes to starting the conversations with girls, we always feel like we're annoying them in some way by starting one, even though 90% we probably aren't, I tell myself this yet I'll always be nervous if I try to start a conversation with a girl. Okay, now think about that, now, when a guy likes a girl the intensity of the nervousness usually multiplies by around about ten. :p Don't take it as an insult if he doesn't start one, just take it as an insult if he ignores you. :]

Other answers

1) He's waiting for you to miss him 2) He dosen't want to seem too clingy or like a bother 3) He likes knowing you were thinking about him when you texted him first or 4) He's not into you ( but that dosen't seem like the case) He seems interested so don't worry about being a bother to him you're obviously not. Talk to him and tell him you'd like if he texts you first sometimes.
