How does the hope scholarship works?

How do I still have the HOPE Scholarship?

  • I am currently attending college, and my GPA has gone below 3.0, so my HOPE Scholarship should be gone. I looked at it on May 4th 2012 and it says that I still am eligible for the HOPE Scholarship for my 2012-2013 year of college even though my GPA is below 3.0. How is this possible when I am supposed to have a 3.0 GPA or higher to keep the scholarship?

    they just haven't done the review yet.... if you know you don't qualify for it... then don't plan on it I have seen people end up having to pay back scholarships that they used but did not qualify for if you do end up with it applied, then be prepared for them to catch it & have to pay it back it would be smart for you to talk with Fin Aid office about this
