Custom fields in WordPress ?
-
Hi everybody. I'm new in WordPress, and I need to use custom fields for a gallery. However, it's impossible to find where I can create such fields. I've checked "Pages -> Add/Modify", and "Posts -> Add/Modify" but there's nothing at the bottom of the page. Do I need to install an extension ? Thanks a lot

Answer:
These instructions are for wordpress.org software only. Not sure you have this option for wordpress.com blogs - you probably don't. When you go to make a post, at the very top of your screen, on the right hand side is a tab, sometimes 2 tabs. Click the one that says screen options and make sure they're all checked. If not, check and save if the save option is there. Refresh your page. You should see the custom field somewhere below the post.
