What size sports bike is for me?

What cc sports bike should i get?

• hi, im about 5'9" and 150 pounds. im looking for a sports bike to buy under $7000. i was originally having my mind set to a kawi ninja 250r but all the adults i know that have owned or own a sports bike say the 250 will have to little of powere and ill out grow it both in power and actual size. ive been looking at getting a yamaha fz6r or a yamaha yzf-r6. im 18 years old and about to take the MSF course in a month so a i have a little time. but i also dont have money coming out of my ears so i dont want to make the wrong choice. so what should i do? get a 250 or a 600cc bike? should it be new or used? and ive gotten insurance quotes 66.77 a month for the 250 so how much more would it be to insure a 600cc bike? please and thank you for the help and answers!
