So if Socialism is so good for the environment why after the collapse of the USSR did Russia declare?

One-sixth of its land uninhabitable because of pollution? You know how big Russia is right? http://journal.probeinternational.org/2010/02/01/behind-red-curtain-environmental-concerns-and-end-communism/ And Why when the USSR overtook Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan did their new socialist society destroy The Aral Sea which was the fourth-largest lake in the world? Also why did Pemex pollute so much of Mexico's lakes and land hurting its people while not giving any compensation to the people they hurt? (Pemex being Mexico's STATE RUN petroleum company.) Could it be because governments have no regard for the environment? In a capitalist society there is over site from regulators and private groups. Along with their being property rights of which the owner can sue if their land is polluted and private companies give out compensation for damage they have done. There is not a reckless government controlling such things with its own ruthless intentions who is the supreme "law of the land" who are only answerable to themselves.

Answer:
Socialism is for the people, not the socialists. The socialists were living it up in luxury while the people forced to live under those failed policies starved. Every socialist country ends up like this, which shows the folly of Keynesian and socialist economic policies.

Idk why people can't just use their common sense to understand what someone is trying to say, rather than pick and pick at their arguments because it may not be very articulate. Anyway, socialism is designed to take away our sovereignty at the expense that our environment be protected. But what about OUR environment? "Animals and trees don't deserve to be exploited", but what about humans? Do we not share this planet with other creatures that should all deserve equal rights and limitations?

Socialism and Communism aren't the same thing EDIT: Keynes wasn't a socialist, anyone that thinks so is a retard that knows nothing about economics.
Who said socialism was good for the environment? Oh like the typical dim-wit you want to claim environmentalism is socialism. Funny how the largest most profitable corporations are now starting to utilize the very technologies people like you claimed would destroy the economy...those very ideas that were promoted by environmentalists, to reduce waste and boost profit.
