Is a computer engineering technology degree from city tech the same as a comp eng degree from city college?

Basically I wanted to enter into a computer based major, 4 year preferably. I'm in new york so looking at city tech it has computer engineering technology, I'm wondering if its even a valid major as other colleges have the real degree called computer engineering like city college. I want an accredited degree that would actually land me an entry job after I graduate.

Answer:
The only Engineering Technology degrees worth getting are TAC/ABET accredited. ATMAE accredits some worthwhile Computer Technology degrees (not Engineering Technology).
