What is the difference between a sociological concept and a variable?

Difference between an ethical concept and principle and what are some.?

  • Have a project that is due Monday and I need to tell the difference between ethical concepts and principles and to name them....so confused...I see them as the same but know there is a difference

  • Answer:

I think the best way to approach is to start by examining the definitions given for the two, then we can draw distinctions. (If you want to add them here or converse via e-mail we can do this.) Here is a general attempt at it. The basic principle "Treat others the way you want to be treated." An ethical concept based on the above principle "Be true to your spouse." Another: P: A person is entitled to his/her property. EC: It is wrong to steal. Is that along the lines of what they mean in the question? (Though none of this explains why moral principles are objective.)
