Where can I find bass guitar tabs for the death note song kodoku?

  • I can only find guitar tabs for them. And i can't even play those with the bass guitar because the tabs i found require 5 strings and bass guitar only has 4. please help! I just wanna know how to play the tune to the song on the bass!

    Didn't look for tabs, but if you screw with the EQ on the song it should be pretty easy to pick out what the bassist is playing. Sounds like a pretty simple bassline to me. It shouldn't be hard for you to learn it without a tab. Heck, it might be quite a bit easier. Guitarists gain a lot of benefit from tabs but if you're playing bass I suggest avoiding them. Much better to train your ear like all the greats did.

I don't know I'm very new to bass but correct me if I'm wrong a guitar has 6 strings no? And it might just be the band you are talking about uses a 5 string bass but I have no idea just try learning it by ear if you can

musicnotes.com has heaps of different sheet music, and you can opt to buy just one particular instrument out of the whole band that the sheet music includes. goodluck :)
