How can I download TV onto my PS3?

I've got some websights like EZTV and Kick A$s so I can download TV series and Films, but I want to do that through my PS3. Can I just do this by using an external hard drive to download them onto? thanks

You do not need an external hard drive but if you want to use an external hard drive, it must be formatted "FAT32". Very important! The PS3 can not see NTFS-formatted drives. You will need to use the triangle button to see the contents of the external drive. If you install a program on your PC or Mac such as "PS3 Media Server", your PS3 will be able to play your AVI and MP4 files using your home network. No external drives, no fuss. For best results, use wires instead of using wireless connections (Wifi) because Wifi is much slower. This is by far more convenient than an external drive.
