@Ash: The i7 is useless for gaming. It is an unnecessary expense that only benefits video encoding and cloud editing. It may give gamers a slight increase, but it can be safely skipped over this gen. The i5 2500k is the perfect chip for gaming. It comes with Intel's HD 3k integrated graphics, which in all honesty, can run even BF3 quite well(for integration, that is). Aside from that, it allows for easy overclocking and is pretty much the 'expected' chip for gamers these days. As for your GPU, I would go with a Nvidia card because I like PhysX while I play. You can hack Radeon to use PhysX, but it would just be better to go with Nvidia in the first place. It would void your warranty, among other things. If you just want the Radeon for gaming, and you don't really care about 'realistic' physics in games, or being surrounded by the greatest current tech available, then yes, it is great. But I really just think it is a rippoff for gamers. Also, nice mobo choice. Don't forget about the PSU! I did that before, and couldn't play for a week till I got a suitable one, lol.

@Mr Mister - "But I really just think [Radeon] it is a rippoff for gamers." That's one of the most absurd things I have ever heard. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Radeon graphics - and yes, that is coming from somebody who is currently running Nvidia's top of the line card, the GTX 680. In terms of performance, Radeon has an equivalent to virtually every Nvidia card (excluding the 680/690). In the sub $400 market, Radeon owns Nvidia. The 67xx, 68xx, 77xx, 78xx, and even 79xx series compete very well with Nvidia. "or being surrounded by the greatest current tech available" The 7000 series from AMD was the first 28nm GPU in the world. It IS current tech. -- The build looks okay. I would personally up the GPU a bit. You can save money by cutting back on Windows 7 Pro (I guarantee you will not use the features offered by Pro). Up to a GTX 560 Ti if possible, they run for about $230, so that's around $80 more, but it's a worthwhile investment.

My suggestion would be to go with Intel's i7 Processors 2nd Generation Sandy Birdge or the latest 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge. Just think about it
