If your stage school was a good enough one, they'd tell you about this, and also invite agents along to their showcase performances, where they could pick the best student and offer to represent them. They are all very picky about who they'll accept - they might take on one new client every quarter. You can't just 'get one'. But otherwise, the only way to get an agent is by getting a place at a top drama school after your A Levels, and doing a 3-year degree-level course. Agents are incredibly difficult to get - once you're over 18, they aren't interested unless you're a graduate. Eastenders only auditions through a few top agents - they get thousands applying every month. They only audition a few of the best trained and most experienced. You'd also have to be ready, willing and able to act on stage in serious plays, adverts, films, educational tours - anything you can get. Even graduates are lucky if they get 2 or 3 weeks' paid acting work a year, so do make sure you have enough school qualifications to get a good 'ordinary' job as well - you'll need it. Most actors work at least one other job to support themselves while auditioning and looking for work. Good luck!

if your stage schools is any good, they should have an agency or be linked up to variuos well known agencies Okay, i actually know how this works. first of all you neeeeed an agent. without that, the chance of you gettin on eastenders is slim to none. they only take people from agencies, they dont hold open auditions or anything like that. unless you are found in a workshop, and im not talking about a community workshop, im talking about workshops at the top drama schools and so on, but yu wuld be very lucky if you are found there. if you could actually attend one of these drama schools that would be great, but they are really hard to get into. but.... on the e20 site it does say that you can send your cv and headshot in if you want a chance to appear on it but i know one of the writers and he told me that they dont even consider anybody who doesnt have a agent and tons of experience. so there you hae it. you may be lucky and be invited for an audition but its likely that to get anywhere you will first of all need an agent. a good one tooo. hope this helps .
