Does going from a Galaxy Captivate to an iPhone 3G cost more in service?
-
I have a samsung galaxy captivate and am about to buy an iphone from my friend. I heard that going from any phone to an iPhone will cause extra charges. Is that still the case if it is just an iPhone 3G?

Answer:
No increase.

No. If the Iphone is 3G like you say, there will be no increase in dataa charges. However, if you were to switch from a regular phone to a smart phone, there will be about an extra $30 a month for some stupid smart-phone reason. hope this helped.

If you already have a smartphone your already paying the extra data charges so no, switching from a Captivate to an iPhone will not charge more.
