Which should be used after messing up clustered index? Update statistics, Reindex or Reorganize?

Statistics - what tests should I use to find the correlation between this data?

• I am in AP Statistics class in high school and we have a final project where we try to find a correlation between two things. I have conducted a simple random sample of about 32 people from my school and asked them for their height, weight, gender, and number of sports they did this year. I took their height and weight and used them to calculate their BMI (Body mass index). I am trying to find if there is a correlation or not between these variables (# of sports they did this year vs bmi). I know how to use each test, but am not sure when to use which one. Therefore, I am kind of confused as to what tests to use for this project. I am suppose to conduct two tests for this project. Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

  First, you can use the microsoft excel formula CORREL to calculate the correlation between the bmi and number of sports played. I suppose you know how to do this. I don't really know what your prompt is, but for your second test, you could do a comparison of the means between males and females. To do this you can use the T-TEST formula in excel to get the p-value. A t-test compares the means of two data sets that are the same measurement. You could not use a t-test to compare bmi to sports played, and you could not use the correlation formula to calculate the correlation between males and females.
