How to clean an hp ink cartridge?

How Do I know what kind of Ink Cartridge to get for my HP Deskjet Printer?

  • So I have a HP Deskjet 3050A All-In-One. I wanted to know what kind of cartridge or what number to get. There is a number on the cartridges and it says 61 and the cartridges at Walmart say HP 61. So I wanted to know if that is the correct one or if It should have the 3050 number on it. I went to InkSupport.com and It had the model HP, but then it wanted the Printer and Cartridge model and none of the model numbers they had on there were on the printer or anything sooo~ I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be much appreciated! :D

    The one at Walmart is correct. HP 61 Before you get confused, understand that those other posters have no idea what they are saying. YOUR printer already has the ink catridge #61 (as you stated) and THAT, according to a) the HP Website here: http://www.shopping.hp.com/store/product/product_detail/CH376A%2523B1H is what is prescribed for your model and B) common sense: if it has the #61 in it, then it's pretty easy to guess that this is the number you need. The other posters are looking at UK sites, and you OBVIOUSLY have a US configured machine. Get the #61, it will match your current cartridge and is what you need. Buy them at Walmart, you will pay less.

According to the HP (UK) website, my friend, your HP Deskjet 3050A All-in-One Printer uses the HP 301 or the HP 301XL cartridges.

Open the printer look at the moving thing with the cables and you will see the cartridge try to remove it by pressing down then look at the top of the cartridge its usually there Hope this helps

I North America the correct cartridge number is 61 for both your black and color.
