Good RTS games for my laptop?

Good laptop for simple online games and videos?

  • So I have an 06 vista right now and I have noticed its kinda been going downhill lately so ive been looking into getting a new laptop. My sister has said that HP is good for videos and games and thats exactly what I need. Im not a hardcore gamer I really only play runescape and thats not the most CPU usage game in the world. I am a hardcore tv/movie watcher on my laptop though but I would still like games to play smoothly.     Due to the fact that you are not a hardcore gamer, you have pretty much widened significantly the spectrum of laptops that you could potentially choose from. HP isn't neccessarily the best laptop for your needs so don't just restrict yourself to this manafacturer. Ideally what you need is a laptop that does not have an integrated intel chipset for its graphics card. This is because they don't always gaurentee good performance, even for simple online games like Runescape and SecondLife, in fact, they can be quiet laggy in the framerate department, but this is just my experience. Most if not all modern laptops pretty much have no problems handling movie files, so your okay in that department whatever laptop you should decide to choose, but i would recommend getting a decent sized hard drive to store all those big movie files, preferably between 300 to 500GB. Asus G74SX-A2 has a stealth-inspired design with a matte rubberized finish that gets high marks from experts.
