What is it like to be a pharmacist in England (London?

Will LONDON ENGLAND ever be the same again?

  • I am 17 years old and a White English Male living in London as I have done all my life. Its fairly obvious London is virtually a non English zone apart from a few expensive and rich areas, this is because of mass immigration which has turned this city from being one of the most desirable destinations in the world with great history/scenery and charming people into a near 3rd world country. The transformation has rapidly increased even during my lifespan, I can remember being a boy walking the semi-clean streets entering shops owned/run by English people, now that's as rare as it gets with every traditional butcher shop being run by islamic men selling halal, big fruit/veg markets with mouldy food on display run by non english speakers even the small corner shops are run by polish. Now i like multiculturalism to an extent, i grew up with black/asian Friends and the culture is a part of me however being one of about 1 English people in my 400 student year group is depressing knowing this IS ENGLAND. I dont feel like a native, nor do I feel like its my country anymore. I see non English spitting on the floor spreading disease, littering, some chicken shops have been known to serve pidgeon and from personal experience have not been able to take my order because they never understood english, a Mosque down every main street, no respect shown to the authority of this country, no respect shown to the minority of natives. My nans house is up for sale and would you believe every viewer has been indian/pakistani?. Ill sum this question up by saying im focusing on London in general + my ideal London is a White City allowing Minoritys to come and live by our rules and work hard, not a city where natives are forgotten and left to watch our city be transformed into a city for the non English. Will this ever change? I can only see it get worse however eventually I know it will be too obvious for the leaders to ignore but will it be too late? how would the government go about giving this land back to its people? I dont want a completely Engish London but I do want us to be the majority again.

  • Answer:

You are not what or who you say you are. If you are 17 and living in London, you are unlikely to have much memory of the city prior to the year 2000, so your description of it 'earlier in your lifetime' is unrealistic. Probably the reason you 'do not feel like a native' is because you are not one. This is a bit of muslim-bashing, so I suspect you are an American troll. The use of the term 'London England' sounds fake to UK ears too. ~~~~~ @mchaggis - In the English speaking parts of the UK we spell the present participle of the verb 'to lose' as 'losing'. @mchaggis - because there are too many Scottish immigrants down here too.

Multiculturalism is a concept that just DOES NOT work. It simply can't. Yet British society and media keeps shoving the idea that it does down our throat. It seems nowadays it's more important not to offend people than it is to tell the truth, no matter how hard it is. Read this article I wrote on the matter : http://vuepoints.co.uk/debates/multiculturalism-doesnt-work

I worked on the Railway at Willesden in the 1960's and there were few coloured people about, also there were few cars on the streets. Post WWII the influx of immigrants has gone on totally unabated, a Tory minister once said that we ought close the gate and take stock of the situation but Parliament stood by and the gate remained open. I now notice that many inner Londoners have moved out into the home counties, those that remain in their childhood neighbourhoods have been left to fit in with the ever-growing flood of newcomers which is a shame in my view for cockney was cockney. The other week I noticed that Tower Hamlets council had asked the local housing associations of Stoke-on-trent to accept an influx of people from it's underfunded housing area because of the strain that it was impossing on their benefit resources; this was called social cleansing in the papers and I immediately thought that this perhaps was the main reason that local authorities had abandoned council housing to make way for housing Associations with their different rules to take on the heavy influxes that past policies had allowed to take root. Such is England today.

Not just London, but the whole of the UK is under threat of being taken over by the massive influx of immigrants pouring into our country, we are loosing our sense of identity. OK Guru Hank, so I made a spelling mistake, I make plenty, we are not in school here, why be so picky??

Completely agree with you Lifeshard. I try not to think about it too much because it makes my blood boil.

1st of all, i don't think your concerns are entirely unfounded. i've heard about the over immigration in britain and it must hurt to see your country's identity diminish but aren't you exaggerating?

Cor Blimey Gov'ner ! No, it will never be the same again; nor will anywhere else. Have you ever heard the phrase "change is the only constant thing in the world" ?

Change happens all the time. England has been invaded and taken over by other peoples several times - they stay and rule for some 400 years then things change again; this time around, it has been declared openly by various clerics that "England will become an Islamic State", "the flag of Islam will fly over Buckingham Palace" and the "dome of St. Paul's will be painted gold and become a Mosque". Maybe we just have to accept that we are in the midst of a yet another take-over and start learning Arabic!
