Who has more no hitters:Nolan Ryan or Albert Pujols?

  • I think Pujols has more games with no hits this season then the amount of no hitters that Nolan pitched in his entire career. Is this considered a historic stat for Pujols?

    7 no-hitters, as the Ryan Express accomplished in his career (let's not forget he also had 12 one-hitters) is amazing. It's not been a good start for Pujols but I am confident he will turn it around.

When people refer to a "no hitter" in baseball they mean the pitcher pitched all 9 innings without giving up a single hit but can give up walks. Nolan Ryan is a pitcher, Albert Pujols IS NOT A PITCHER. Pujols just didn't get a hit, not a "no hitter". Comparing the two like you are is ridiculous.
