Is an 1850 on the SAT good enough for UVA?

What are my chances of getting into UVA?

• I really want to go to UVA or Tufts university and major in biology and psychology but I don't know if its a realistic dream or not. I am a junior now and haven't taken the SATs yet so I'm really worried about that. Im taking the subject SAT for history this week and will take math in october. Im taking the SAT and ACT in June. I have a 3.7 GPA unweighted and 4.1 weighted I've taken 3 APs so far (AP World, AP US, AP Psych) and will take 5 next year (AB calc, AP Spanish, AP comparative government, AP biology, AP literature) I am a writing tutor at my school's writing center and have went to a couple of writing conferences i have tons of volunteer hours (100+) from volunteering at the hospital I have been selected for an internship at the National Cancer Institute to research at the laboratory of pathology I have been apart of a couple of school plays and musicals including the wizard of oz this year I am the president of history honors society and a party of NHS and science honors society I work at Kumon where i tutor little kids and grade homework Im also a virginia resident so i've listed most of the big things i've done and i need you guys to honestly tell me if i have any shot of getting into these universities. It's my dream to get into UVA or Tufts university and I would really appreciate if you guys can help guide me to that dream.. :) thanks!

  I think you definitely have a shot... study for those SATs. Also, show UVA demonstrated interest, meaning you should apply ED or EA, have an interview, and write personal letters.
