This work does not require any funds out-of-pocket from you. We will provide the funds to post in newspapers. Once you have received the funds and the ad content necessary for the postings from us, all you have to do is place the ads from home by calling newspapers’ toll free numbers or by using their online services. Answer:
100% scam. There is no job. There is only a scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money and maybe your freedom. The next email will be from another of the scammer's fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the "assistant" and will supply you with stock ads to post. The "job" you are advertising is really a "cash the fake check" type job scam. When a potential victim responds to the scammer due to YOUR ad that YOU posted using YOUR home computer, the potential victim is told by the scammer the he/she has a job cashing checks for some business or as a personal assistant. When craigslist realizes YOU posted the fake job ad, YOU get the visit from the local law enforcement agency asking why are YOU hiring people to cash fake checks? The real reason the scammer can't post on craigslist is because he has already been ip banned, which you will be if you post those fake job ads. The victims are suppose to cash the fake checks and send the cash back to the scammer via Western Union or moneygram. Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever. Any "paycheck" you receive will be fake and will bounce. Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer. 7 "Rules to follow" to avoid most fake jobs: 1) Job asks you to use your personal bank account and/or open a new one. 2) Job asks you to print/mail/cash a check or money order. 3) Job asks you to use Western Union or moneygram in any capacity. 4) Job asks you to accept packages and re-ship them on to anyone. 5) Job asks you to pay visas, travel fees via Western Union or moneygram. 6) Job asks you to sign up for a credit reporting or identity verification site. 7) Job asks you to post ads on ebay/craigslist or on forums advertising merchandise, programs or other websites Avoiding all jobs that mention any of the above listed 'red flags' and you will miss nearly all fake jobs. Only scammers ask you to do any of the above. No. Exceptions. Ever. For any reason. If you google "fake job posting ads scam", "fraud craigslist job ad Western Union" or something similar, you will find hundreds of posts from victims and near-victims of this type of scam.

Don't give them any info. It is a scam. Any job that talks money like that in the ad and seems to good to be true is an absolute scam. And a job that even asks for info like that is a big no no. Send that email to your Spam folder in your email, so if they email you again it should go straight to that folder. Trust, me you don't want to get involved... I've recently been scammed by a man who posed as a real person who is a owner of a real company ( i researched) and I sent him my resume and it has all my personal info on it, and that's the kind of email he sent back and it sucks, because he has all my info, I've already received a fake check in the mail, been getting calls from out of state and out of country and spam emails, it's been nuts, so be careful who you send your resume to or give any personal info to. My situation was really bad because he posed as a real person, so I had no idea till he emailed me again with all that info that you basically got.

This is a scam that has two parts 1 - the cashier's check they send will be counterfeit/stolen and they will want you to wire money 2 - the ads they are asking you to place are fake job ads just like the on you responded to NOBODY hires people without a face to face interview. Even for most work from home jobs, you still go to the company's office for an interview and to fill out your I-9 and W-4 form before you are offered the job, and they will train you at their office
