What is your all time favorite blog layout?

    I prefer very simple layouts. Nice bold header and then a clean plain colour background. If you use a patterned one, it will detract from the posts and you don't want that. As for the user above of course your opinion is valued but blogging is NOT a waste of time if you are good at it. Blogging isn't for every and people do it for different reasons. Some want to show their creativity. Some want to extrapolate on their views on subjects. I would never call Facebook a blog. It wants to be a blog but its not. Its just a tool for idiots sharing how hugover they are and posting pictures in hipster glasses. Blogs can be so much more than that. TRUE, there are blogs that are essentially an extension of Facebook with people simply ranting. There are also blogs though with people sharing photography (NOT duck faces and pictures of being a drunken mess in the street) providing recipes or simply sharing their poetry and stories. You don't have to like them but also you don't have to read them. Don't discredit them though.

I'm not trying to be a dick but to be honest blogs suck and are a waste of time (especially twitter). (unless you are in a business and use it for advertisement) but for the only blog I am apart of (thx to gf) it has to be facebook. Easy to understand, organized, and good for the addicted (every other hr checker) the intermediate (daily to weekly) or the ones with real non internet lives (monthly, like me) it is very good at keeping up with birthdays and schedules if you choose to use it that way. very goof to keep up with family members and long distance or long term Friends. the only advice is that you do not post private things or stupid things. it can scar your rep and you as an individual. and the last thing i want to see is another beautiful person being destroyed over things on facebook. be careful who you talk to, be nice and use effectively. otherwise event though i Still consider it a waste of time it would be the best layout with many perks (and consequences, to only be feared if the user themselves is irresponsible)
