Does it look bad if I take my fourth SAT?

Does it look bad If I take two sat subject tests twice?

  • I'm going to take math IIC USHistory, and physics subject tests. I have I feeling I'm not well prepared for math and physics but still want to take them now and in the fall. Does it look bad of I take the same two tests twice? I want to go to a UC so u can't use Score Choice. Thanks!

  • Answer:

they don't care. There job isn't to judge, it's to look at each student's application and only look at the highest score (not combined, but individual ones). so if you get a 750 on math IIC this time, and then the second time you take it you get a 800, they don't care about the 750 because of the 800. I'm not saying to do this, but a positive thing about taking the SATs twice is you could show improvement. If I took physics SAT and got a 540, and then the next time I got a 800, it shows improvement which could help. Of course shoot for the this was just an example of not to be too worried :)
