Mexican fans & CL vs Copa Libertadores?

  • Is it me or does the Concacaf Champions league get less respect than Copa Libertadores? It seems more fans show up to Libertadores BQ: How will the Drawings work for Copa Mexico next season?

    It gets less respect because the level of play is weaker in Concacaf than in South America. In South America teams play at a higher level than MLS, Central American, and Carribean teams. Only Mexican teams can match up that's why they invite Mexican teams to participate in the Copa Libertadores.

That's because the only decent teams that play in the Concachampions are the Mexican League teams. Maybe one or two MLS teams, but that's it. In the Libertadores, there are a lot of respectable teams; All brasilian teams, some from Uruguay, Argentina teams, some Colombian, and more South American teams as well.

both CL and Libertadores games get less fans in Mexico unless the game is in South America since for CONMEBOL its like their champions league its a tournament filled with history and tradition so of course its going to mean more to them than it does to Mexico and the Concacaf champions league is not very big or competitive and the games are during the week
