Is a property assistant lower than an administrative assistant?

Hired a visa assistant, need property inspection report for a visa?

  • I'm applying for my fiance' visa to the UK and I have every bit of information I need except one document. I have bank statements and photos and title deed and mortgage statements, wage slips, utility bills, employment verification letter, I have TWO co sponsors because I'm a little short on money but my parents are NOT. They wrote in to help me. The only thing I don't have is a property inspection report for my in laws house. My assistant I hired said if I don't get this, it's highly likely I'll get refused. However, here's my problem. He never let me know it was necessary and always made it out as "optional". I couldn't get it, it was out of budget. Now, with only one day away from my trip back to America with my fiance coming with me to apply for my visa under priority circumstances, he says this to me? Is there ANY way around this? Has someone experienced something similar? ANY HELP!?!?!?!?!?

  • Answer:

You DO NOT need a formal property inspection report. Do your in laws have a copy of the original sales brochure from when they bought the house? This would be perfect as it would show the size of rooms. All this part of the process is designed to do is to prove that your addition to the household does not create overcrowding as per the Housing Act 1985. You must demonstrate that if you are sharing with others, you have at least a 50 sq ft bedroom to yourselves. Here's an easy guide to explain. Look at the other sections of this web site to guide you on other documentation. http://www.londonelegance.com/transpondia/accomodation-notes

Make sure the letter your in-laws write also says you have your own private bedroom for the 2 of you to use exclusively. You could take a picture of the bedroom and send in as well. It is not 100% necessary for it to be inspected. As long as your in-laws own their own home and say you guys can stay there it is okay. Here is a like that may help as well. http://londonelegance.com/transpondia/family-visas/spousal-visa Here is a list of what you need to include in your application. Your passport. 2 passport photo's. His British passport OR his British birth certificate and a copy of his bio page out of his passport. If you have any criminal convictions, you have to report these and send in supporting documents. This also includes driving offenses. So no matter what, if you have gotten a ticket, you will need a copy of your FULL driving history. If either of you have been married before, divorce decree's. His wage slips for 3-6 months. His bank statements for 3-6 months. Proof of where you will be staying (in your case in-laws support letter) Proof of pending wedding. Such as a venue being booked, dress bought, invitations etc etc. (this is important in a fiance visa) Proof of knowing and meeting one another. Such as photo's together, trips taken together, online chats, emails, phone bills etc etc. (this is also very important) He will need to write a supporting letter, briefly explaining your relationship and his desire for you to live with him in the UK. You will need to write a covering letter as well. (I also sent in my birth certificate and all educational certificates) Glad you know about going priority. It makes things a lot quicker. Just make sure you have everything when you go for your biometrics, because once you do your biometrics you have 14 days to get your application sent in.
