What fish should I get next for my tropical fish tank?

How can you get started with a new 10G fish tank? what supplies do you need?

I have 20 baby mollies that are about 1 week old and i will be putting them in that fish tank and when they get older i will add platys and swordtails (What other fish are good to mix with them?)     20 mollies in a 10gallon will be stranding room only. You'll get more waste than the filter can cope with and that and the stress of the crowding will make them very susceptible to disease.

Mollies and swordtails need 30 gallons or more, platies should have 15 gallons at the minimum. you will need A gravel vacuum filter, heater, thermometer a variety of foods one or more nets water conditioner plants, deco, liquid water test kits for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, Ph Cycled tank with hood maybe an air pump, airstone Algae scrapper Other things I forgot?

a heater, filter, plants, fertalizer for the plants, gravel, thermometer. you NEED to cycle the tank, and that is WAY too many fish. maybe TWO mollies, if any. that is over 1000% stocked with 20+ molies. EDIT_______ okay. cool.but be warned: you will have to move them in less than a month. if you want easier maintenance and to save money in the long run, get a.n 80 gallon. that is the only size big enough for the full grown mollies ONLY.

Because your tank will be tropical you are going to need a quality self adjusting heater to keep your water warm. Also a gravel vacuum is very helpful for weekly cleanings and keeping your nitrate and ammonia count down. A water conditioner will also be needed to get rid of chlorine and other harmful elements in the water you put in the tank. Also mollies and platys do well with a little bit of aquarium salt (sounds weird I know but trust me). It helps put electrolytes and helps with stress and slime coat. When you go to your local pet store you can get all the help you need. They might even offer free water tests so you can keep tabs on the quality of your water. However with 20 mollies your tank might get a little crowded so If all of them survive I would get a 20 to 30 gallon so there is no overcrowding and problems. Plants will not only add a pop of color but also help provide extra oxygen and help control certain harmful elements. Its always good to start out simple and work up to those big colorful crazy tanks. Best of luck!
