What is the difference between plush and felt?

My best friend gave me a kiss and it felt strange. Is there a difference between kisses?

• I have a male friend whom I love - but not like that. We have a relationship where I am his wing woman and he helps me find dates as well. He is just awesome you know. The other day it was my time of the month and he stayed with me. He made me cupcakes and we listened to music and talked. We talked about kissing in general. Soon we started to demonstrate on each other. It was no big deal, we have kissed before. But what really stuck on my mind was the last kiss he gave me. We were laying on the pillow facing each other and just about to doze off. He gave me a tender, soft kiss and said "Good night sweetie". It felt different somehow, you know? I can't explain it. But maybe it was nothing. Is there a difference between a kiss and a kiss? Or am I just reading into this too much?

  I think the last kiss he gave you was more meaningful than the others. I think it had actual emotion rather than the ones that you were just demonstrating on each other.
