My screen gets cut off, how can i fix this?

I am going to buy a used bb 8520, some times it gets white light of death, will a new screen fix this?

• I so im buying it for £35 pound it needs new housing the side buttons have come off batterys sh*t but my main concern is the white screen of death it sometimes randomly comes up so will a new screen fix this issue? thanks

  To get a good accurate answer give the brand, model number, installed operating system of the laptop when asking a question as all PC's are not the same. If you connect it to a second monitor and the picture is okay it means you have a bad screen, loose cable, loose connection, bad inverter or lamp. If you want to fix it your self there are videos on youtube that show how to do it, but it is not easy.
