Counter argument for lowering legal age of drinking?

  • I need to write a paragraph of counter argument for my argumentative essay about lowering drinking age of alcohol. I'm against it. I need an example for counter argument since it's hard to think of one. :(

    You can use teenage driving record statistics as one. Lower the age to 18 and you'll have more drunk drivers on the road at night. It could cause more violence at schools since you go into college when you're 18...even though everyone pretty much drinks anyways. Prevent unsafe sex and reduce young pregnancy. Reduce the probability of becoming an alcoholic? haha, man why'd you pick to argue against it? Thats tough.
