How can u invite people on yahoo just 2 make friends?

Where can I meet people for a game of pool. I know I can do it on yahoo-pool, but I want to make friends too?

  • and on y-pool you never really make any kind of friendship- it's just play pool and go. It's not good for making friends. So, I want to meet folk and ask them for pool and friendship sort of thing. Like you put a lot of effort into being friendly with someone with whom you're playing and I want to get some good return on my time-investment. I.e., make pals I can talk to again some time.

Find which pubs in your area have pool tables, also look in the phone directory/ask around to see if there are pool halls. Everyone within 2 metres of a pool table is there to play the game, so it wouldnt be weird asking a stranger if they're up for a game. How about seeing if any pubs have pool teams (competitions with other pubs) you can join.
