What is the lightest/best hiking boot or shoe?

Boot - tennis shoe crossover?

I've had a pair of New Balance tennis shoes for about two years now, and they're getting more than a little beat up. I don't have the means to buy several pairs at once, so I usually end up buying a new pair and wearing them out over a year or two. This time around, I want to get kind of a hiking boot meets tennis shoe (if that even exists). I need something strong, but not super expensive. I'm also into walking, biking, and hiking, so they need to be comfortable. I'm a size 15 (I can squeeze into a 14), and I'm 6"5', so hopefully someone has a pair that doesn't make me any taller. lol Any suggestions on what I should buy? I don't think I want to go over $100, but if a pair is just over the limit, I might go for it. Thanks!
