Why do people drink?

Why can't people who drink alcohol?

  • leave teetotalers alone? I don't expect people to refrain from drinking, so why do people ke expect me to drink. Because I don't drink I am a lightweight, thus one glass of whatever affects me, and I don;t like being out of control or forced into relaxation. So yes just one will affect me. Loads of people say just have one- but like I said if you don;t drink it will affect you. I see far more drinkers putting peer pressure on teetotalers than teetotalers putting pressure on those who drink not to drink. the question is why?

people wanna feel like there doing a common thing with eachother. in this case drinking. in other cases smoking cannabis, others that don't include intoxication are simply having diner, watch a movie, etc. just stay strong. either a. loose those people that keep saying to have just one, b. deal with it
