How do i apply for work experience at girlfriend magazine Australia? and who do i contact?

• iam currently in year 10 and i really want to do work experience at a well known fashion/beauty/gossip magazine, i had applied for dolly but they have put me on the waiting list for all there positions are full.

  I work for the street press... Usually magizines won't have job themselves but the media outlet that it belongs to will, large magizines like that won't take you on generally because you won't be up to speed and have the qualifications ect unless you are looking at trades... We turn away many work experience applications because they don't tend to take the job seriously cause major delay and can cost the business a lot of money... But if you are interested in this try local new papers or publications it looks a lot better on a prortfolio then working at a major publication. Major publication - you carry thing around the office, get lunch and drinks for people and give people messages Local - you actually will work on stories or at least help, you'll have a lot of guidance and you will have an actuall printed article to show on your portfolio
