Why is photoshop displaying images too bright?

What sizes sheet and images should I use in photoshop, so they will print out the right size?

  • I'm thinking of making a photoshop collage, thing of pictures of my brothers and sisters, along with my moms grand kids... sort of like a family tree, but in a collage... So, what sizes should I use for the full page, as well as the images I add on the paper? because I know that regular sized paper I think is 8 x 10, or somewhere around there. and my mom once told me before to use somewhere around 4 inches for each picture for or something a bit smaller, even if they come out small in photoshop, because when you print them they will come out the right size.. =/ tips, or suggestions for photoshop, and editing pictures, and designs for mother's day?? thanks :D !!

  • Answer:

the Resolution (DPI - dots per inch) is what matters in printing out photos. you want 300 DPI - that is standard for printing, but you can also get away with half that (150). you'll find the resolution setting in the same box as the inches.
