Do you know about any cheap long term 1room aparments in Rome?

Cheap long term car rental?

  • Hi! I'm relocating into Canada for exactly one year. I'm searching options on renting a cheap car for the period. Since it's only one year, I prefer not to buy a car and then sell it, since it's a hassle and there's a difference of prices when selling / buying + tax.. So I was looking for long term rental. I know that short term rental can end up with about 700 - 1000 $ for compact car and then you have to include insurance - is there any discounted insurance for a long period for rental cars that you know of? (credit cards insurance are limited on time) Any answer will help! Thank you for reading and thank you even more if you're answering

  • Answer:

Renting a car monthly is far more expensive than purchasing one. You don't pay taxes on used cars (except from private dealerships). Titles transfer fees are under $100. You do pay GST/HST on car rentals. You also pay a premium in terms of insurance on rental vehicles and often mileage fees. If you buy a used car for $2500 even if give it away at the end of the year, that is still only $200/month. If you sell it for $1500, it only cost you $80/month. You'll never come close to renting a car for that.
