Help? What are some good alternative love songs?

MEGA-LOVE STORY HELP! INSPIRATION!?!?!?!?

• Hi there, I feel like writing a book all about everything in a relationship, the highs and lows, the heartbreak particularly. I've been inspired by Marina and The Diamond's new album, Electra Heart (if you haven't heard it GO LISTEN NOW! It's beautiful!). The songs are a beautiful rendition of love. But the problem is I have no idea where to begin! I have considered writing different people's takes on their relationships and then all the character's stories merging together, but I've realised that sounds a bit crap. Basically, feed me little ideas to get me started or help me generate ideas please. And vampires? ***** please, I want something alternative, no creatures or men on horses. I want all the characters in this book to be broken somehow in one way or another. So, this is on my shopping list: - some love story ideas (perhaps from experience? Or even interpretation from Marina's lyrics?) - Different characters (doesn't matter how long the list is, hell, make 20 for all I care) BUT, they must have flaws, imperfections, things they hate about themselves but never expose - writing style different perspectives, first person, third person?) I am happily taking on any suggestions right now so all you Haters, feel free to hate :)
