Why do my eyes tear for no reason?

What's up with my eyes?

  • So today, in my trigonometry class, I my seat was moved to the last row. Surprisingly, everything on the board was blurry. It's not like I couldn't see the board but like the writing was like fuzzy and squished together if you know what I mean. Hard to explain. I don't think there's anything wrong with my eyesight (I got it checked last summer and it was 20/40 for both eyes) and I don't wear glasses. Anyways, for some reason, the words were blurry yeah yeah, but I could make out the words when I squinted. I think was squinting/straining my eyes so hard they started tear up lol. My eyes were also itching though... Is this because of allergies or that I need glasses? I'm not sure but can allergies give blurry vision?? I don't want glasses ;)

  • Answer:

You are nearsighted. Corrective lenses will help you see clearly from the last row of your classroom. You could move back to a seat closer to the board so you don't have to squint so hard to see what is written. Your 20/40 visual acuity measured last summer wasn't great, and after another year, you have likely become more myopic. You should get another eye exam and see what you are missing! Good luck.

Yeah same problem with me too. You need glasses and go check out your eye sight with your eye doctor this summer and see what they say.
