If you are serious!!! At your age experience is the most critical thing you need to acquire. I would suggest that you decide what type of job you want and then personally go to each employer and submit an application. Always dress like you are serious and be polite. Remember persistence is extremely important and admired by most employers

Write out a plan, then summarise it and then try and stick to it, it should be no more than 7 or 7 lines, like Get with agency Get 1 days work Do more than sweeping floors get Fork lift truck licence with money earned Become manager First objective is getting some experience. How many agencies are you registered with, yes I know the answer is none, so now is the time to start, check out The direct gov jobs http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Employment/Jobseekers/ContactJobcentrePlus/index.htm Do a local search and start replying to the obvious agency jobs, if you can get registered and be ready the first work will buck you up (it might only be labouring or cleaning) and get you some money and experience so the next time you phone and they say have you experience say yes don't over do it if you have 3 days just say you have only just started and have a bit, it is okay to big it up but don't lie, you will be found out. Agencies mess you about and a lot of the work is crap but they get you work, and that gets you experience, I was with 5 and did all sorts the worst was glass recycling sorting the rubbish used nappies and tampons were the worst, but you were wearing gloves. What type of work are you looking for if it is office work the same principles apply, but really you need to get to night school or college and upgrade your skills, again when you start getting the money in, pay for improving your education, although at your age you should get most of it free. If there is lifting have instructions and see about getting a certificate, cleaning if there is sit on cleaners see about getting a certificate, building sites get a hoist certificate, and safety certificates, it is all grist to the mill, Fork Lift Truck certificates , there are also specialist FLTs narrow aisle and the like.

You could think about going to college or uni to improve your job prospects. If you're not keen, consider voluntary work. I used to volunteer in a charity shop, and I currently volunteer in the Fundraising department of a Hospice, and this is on my CV. Voluntary work would give you relevant experience, if it's related to the types of jobs you're looking for. I believe that God will help you to get a job if you pray to Him. I believe in God, and He has given me a job I'm happy with.

You need a higher level of education.

the easiest way to get an income is an apprentaship at your age, i did it when i was 17 and i'm now 19 and have a full time job

Getting a job now is difficult. Especially because you are young most employers won't employ you. If anything interests you, you can go to college & study which you will get EMA payments plus your family might be able to get benefits for you. My mum got benefits for me up until i was 20 because i was still in education at college and my mum was on a low income ( job seekers ) so she couldn't keep me. If you don't want to go to college then you can always sign on with Job Centre to get money. But keep looking for work, try asking any other family member if they know anywhere, ask your friends & their family if they know anywhere, the more people you tell that you are looking for work, the more chance you have finding work because if they see a job advertised then hopefully they will think of you & tell you about it.

Call into shops with copies of your CV (this is a great one to do as they get to see you and make a quick judgement of your character). Look in your local newspaper. If you haven't got a CV, you can get help with making one either through your school/Job Centre/Citizens Advice Bureau. If you find it hard to get a job because you haven't got any experience, then try a little volunteering, maybe in a charity shop or something. I'm sure you could find a few hours a week to volunteer and it would give you experience and a ready made reference.
