What are the clerical/technical positions available in a mortuary/morgue other than the medical examiner?
-
I would like to obtain a degree in the forensic/mortuary science area in order to obtain a morgue/mortuary assistants position and wondered if anyone knows what area of science I would need to study and obtain my degree in so that I could work a civil service job at a coroner's office or a forensic pathologist's office in a bigger city?

Answer:
Forensic Science and Mortuary Science are the degrees you need. I go to University of Central Oklahoma, and both degrees are offered as a dual degree.
