How can I get to youtube in school?

  • I've tried many options like typing in uk.youtube.com in the address bar and using many proxy servers but all proxy servers are blocked and anything I try I can't get onto youtube, is there anyway at all to bypass blocks?

    I would say there is ways yes, but unless you want to get in a lot of trouble then I wouldn't. YouTube is blocked in many schools because of distractions and certain videos, it isn't in my school. If you really need to get on it for a certain video for a project or something important, then either download and convert it and then bring it into school on a stick, or ask your ICT administrator or technicians really nicely then I'm sure they will lift the barriers for a few minutes so you can watch/retrieve this video. But if it is just for enjoyment purposes, then I think you should wait until you get home and watch them in your own leisure time, that is a reason why many schools block them.
