Is my tongue ring normal?

I have a dip under my tongue ring. is this normal?

  Yep! It's completely normal, I promise! I got my tongue pierced in December and I still have a small little dip. At first whenever I got it people kept telling me that it looked gross because of the dip, but I promise that the dip won't stay like that forever, it's just because your tongue is swollen. And another thing, if you want your tongue piercing to heal faster gargle a little sea salt water twice after you eat or drink (anything besides water), because if you use mouthwash a lot then you can over clean your tongue which isn't good. The reason why is because your mouth knows that the tongue piercing doesn't belong there, so your tongue is gonna give off pus soon to try to 'heal' the womb, and if you rinse with mouth wash a lot it'll make your tongue heal much slower.
