How can I be an air hostess in Australia?

How much does an air hostess make a MONTH?

• im currently a student in sixth form and i really want to be an air hostess. im looking into getting an apartment near london and need to know roughly the starting salary MONTHLY (please not yearly), as well as any other information. also, if you are a cabin crew member, could you suggest which airline would be best (im currently debating virgin or BA)? or whichever is paid more or with the better benefits? im looking on sharing a flat with my friend who also wants to be an air hostess. any personal opinions, experiences or tips would be very appreciated! thanks!!!

  From what I learned recently (from such personnel here in Canada and the US), this is not a very good time: they are paid by Time spent in the air (so you are at the airport, waiting to start work, there is a 3 hour delay: not paid...etc...Some airline hostesses and pursers make not even 10,000USD per year. Not such a glamor job anymore....
