I kinda wish baseball playoffs were more like the NHL?

Really..Every time I watch an NHL playoffs game I feel like I'm watching such a close game. I feel like NHL playoffs are underrated and MLB playoffs are overrated. THERE'S ONLY ONE OCTOBER!!! Why do I have to hear how great the MLB playoffs are when the actual more exciting part of last year was the pennant races during the REGULAR SEASON?? To be honest, I didn't even find the World Series to be anything interesting other than Game 6. The World Series actually has been a joke since 2001. With I think 2009 and 2011 being the only series to reach 6 games since 2004.

I don't. My one complaint about the NHL playoffs is how you have a long season to eliminate less than 1/2 the teams. Out of 30 teams, 16 make the playoffs, one more than 1/2.

Answer - If you don't want to hear about the MLB playoffs, you can turn your MLB sound off and concentrate 100% on the NHL season that starts during the MLB playoffs. The final week of last season's MLB pennant races were unusally exciting. Sorry the playoffs were a let down for you. Thanks for your vent. Hope you feel better.

Too much teams in the playoffs reward mediocrity and usually the first round are boring and for the most part, predictable. One thing I like about the MLB playoffs is that any team can get hot and win. The best teams during the regular season don't always win.
