I have to write a personal statement. Any help?

HELP MY WRITE MY COLLEGE PERSONAL STATEMENT PLZ HELPHELPHELP?

i HAVE to write a personal statement to apply for college under 1,000 words........here goes. plz help i suck so bad. Growing up, I always took great interest in police officers and the court system. My girlfriends and I played cops, communicating with our walkie-talkies, to arrest our "criminal" friends and put them in our tree fort jail to await their trials. I still have that interest, although I no longer imprison my friends in trees. In my future I see myself earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice to enable me to fulfill my more realistic dream of working as a bail bond investigator. Although friends and family have attempted to convince me my amateur interest is not the path to a successful career, I will not let their opinions stand in my way. I want to pursue a higher education to better myself and my future. I feel I would be a great asset to your college for I am extremely hard working and disciplined. I would also know I would have a positive contribution to society and the work force.
