My essay is on the Great Chicago Fire. Prompt: the Great Chicago Fire was a tragic event in the history of not only Chicago, but also the United States. Explain how the fire started, how it spread, and what the ramifications were afterward. Include the impact the fire has on peoples' lives and the city itself. How was Chicago able to overcome the tragedy. 2nd paragraph is about how the fire started 3rd paragraph is about how the fire spread 4th paragraph is about the after effects. Please help me write a thesis statement.
