I need american history help.

Need help choosing topic for American Military History research paper?

• Looking for help choosing a topic for a research paper in my American Military History class. The paper can be any topic relating to the US Military from the French & Indian Wars through the conclusion of the Vietnam War. I am horrible at choosing my own research topics, and would much rather just be assigned one. I typically choose something such as World War 2 which is far too broad a topic to be discussed in a 10-15 page paper. I'm interested in virtually any of the "modern" combat operations such as World War 2 and Korea (Grandpa was a veteran). If anybody has any cool, specific ideas, I would love to hear them. . .

  The Korean war may be a good topic as it both includes success and failure, which you can explain in details on the good decisions and the bad ones. =)
